Wedding Lingerie

Knickers!
As we all know girls, wearing the correct underwear can make such a difference to your mood and to your outfit, which is why when it comes to your wedding underwear there is no exception to the rule of “look good, feel good”.

Whilst there is the idea that you should don the slinky lingerie, is it going to be comfortable on the day when you’ve got on the big dress and will be in it for a good 10 hours, maybe more? Why not go with comfort for during the day and then slip into some negligee at night for your new husband?

Wedding lingerie comes in all shapes, sizes, colours and there is generally something for each budget. For those with cash to splash La Perla and Rigby & Peller are certainly prime examples of luxury, but for those on a more conservative budget, La Senza and Bravissimo are perfect. But remember to have a look on the high street, Debenhams and John Lewis, you might be surprised at the selection they offer and the competitive prices.

You must consider that your dress will influence what you buy; strapless dresses mean strapless bras and corsets/basques. Whereas if you are going for a fitted dress you might want to invest in a pair of pants favoured by Bridget Jones…they smooth out lumps and bumps fantastically.

Tights, stockings or hold ups? If you have stockings you need suspenders to hold them up, which means more underwear! But if like me you think wisely, you can buy pants with suspenders attached.
